JULIA PALMER'S BIOGRAPHY

Julia Palmer is a pioneering Relational Strategist and the Chief Executive of Relatus, where she leads a global movement to redefine how we build professional relationships in a digitally saturated world.

With over 20 years of experience spanning Sydney, London, Singapore, and Stockholm, Julia has worked across industries, hosted hundreds of conferences, and held senior leadership roles in multinational organisations—bringing a rare mix of commercial insight and human-first strategy to her work.

Her methodology goes far beyond traditional networking. Julia helps leaders and teams design personalised relationship ecosystems rooted in relational intelligence—applying emotional awareness to build deep, meaningful, and strategically valuable connections. Her approach integrates advisory and capability development to turn contacts into active, thriving ecosystems of support and influence.

Julia is the creator of the BEE REAL framework and the concept of “Netships” (networking relationships), both designed to move individuals from shallow transactions to sustained, high-trust engagement. She has helped clients from Fortune 500 companies to fast-growth start-ups transform how they connect, collaborate, and communicate.

A qualified expert in Emotional Intelligence (GENOS & MSCEIT), NLP, performance consulting and adult learning, Julia blends academic rigour with practical know-how. She is a three-time author, media contributor, and Channel 7’s Kochie’s Business Builders Networking Expert.

Above all, Julia believes success is never achieved in isolation—and that when we design relational systems built on trust, authenticity and generosity, we all rise together.

Recently described as “A woman of her time”, Julia’s message is important now more than ever.

The drastically changing global playing field, technology takeover and organisational shuffle (flattening of hierarchies) is leading to the rise of networks of teams and expanded connectivity.

Julia works with all job titles in all industries to help them develop their soft, social and emotional skills to give them the human advantage.

Her sessions are packed full of insights, case studies and practical tips that our groups felt invaluable, and she is one of the highest rated speakers we’ve had over the last 5 years.

Julia’s presentations deliver a great outcome for Leadership Think Tank, and a great outcome for our members. I highly recommend Julia as a presenter - she's thoughtful, engaging and, most importantly, credible.
